Every year, the best rowers from the two biggest Swiss universities, the ETH Zürich and University of Zürich, compete against each other in the name of their institution. Apart from that, rowing in Switzerland is not a collegiate sport; instead, several clubs fight each other in a series of national regattas and ultimately for the title of Swiss champions. All of our team members are, besides competing for ETH, part of the Belvoir Club, located directly at the Lake Zürich. The club upholds a long tradition of student rowing and especially women¡¯s rowing, being one of the first Swiss clubs allowing women to join.
