1828년 케임브리지 대학의 보트클럽이 창설되었다. 케임브리지 대학교의 조정클럽 중 하나인 다윈 컬리지 보트 클럽(DCBC)은 현재 재임 중인 회장 Chester White 박사에 의해 1969년 설립되었다. 활발하고 다양한 교류를 통해 케임브리지의 여러 조정클럽 중 대표적인 대학원생 보트클럽으로 발전해왔으며 캠브리지의 대표적인 경기 Bumps를 비롯한 다양한 경기들에 컬리지를 대표해 출전해오고 있다. 현재 50명 정도의 크루들이 활발히 활동하고 있다.
Rowing began at the University of Cambridge in 1828. DCBC is the boat club of Darwin College, University of Cambridge. DCBC was founded in 1969 by its current President, Dr. Chester White. Since then, DCBC has become one of the most successful graduate boat clubs representing Cambridge, and has grown into a very social and vibrant community of rowers, coxes, coaches. We represent the college in the Bumps and other races on the Cambridge, and occasionally in events off the Cam. Across the whole club, we currently have approximately 50 active rowers and coxes. DCBC is honored to be able to represent Cambridge rowing in the World-class University Rowing Festival 2016, and we are very much looking forward to meeting everyone in Korea!
